PJ StuffSorry, but I have to say it: I'm not feeling too sorry for anyone in this situation...even if the 23 year old female does have a long recovery still ahead. But it's a fantastic story that highlights the PJs' expertise.

Last Day for Valour-IT Fundraising Competition 2010

PJ StuffOk, guys, I haven't seen a single name from the PJ list popping up on the Team Air Force donation roll.

I know times are tough right now, but... really??

Not even $5?

I really don't know what to say.

I'll be putting a donation in. Don't mistake it for one of yours.

A special plea...

PJ StuffI know we all get hit up for a lot of good causes. But this is different.

Many of you come here in search of pararescue news and photos. I'm happy to have you here, and I'm honored when you stay for the other content as well.

Today I'm specifically asking you pararescue "hopefuls" to become actual doers. Project VALOUR-IT is in full swing and yet Team Air Force is sadly behind. This fundraising project provides invaluable communication and recovery aids to our wounded. If you aren't just interested in pararescue for your own glory, if you truly want to reach out to our wounded, I challenge you to take the first step and donate on behalf of Team Air Force.

Valour-IT 2009 (Fresh Copy)

This year's fundraiser has a new feature: Donations can be made in someone's memory, and those names are posted on the fundraiser website. While you are of course free to make your own personal memorials, I'd like to see the names of these fallen PJs appear on the donation rolls for Team Air Force:

TSGT Scott Duffman KIA FEB 18, 2007 OEF

MSgt William McDaniel KIA Feb 22, 2002 OEF

SSgt Juan Ridout KIA Feb 22, 2002 OEF

Sra Jason Cunningham KIA March 4, 2002 OEF

Sra Jason Plite KIA March 23, 2003 OEF

MSgt Michael Maltz KIA March 23, 2003 OEF

SrA Benjamin D. White KIA June 9, 2010 OEF

1Lt Joel C. Gentz KIA June 9, 2010 OEF

SSgt Michael P. Flores KIA June 9, 2010 OEF

If I'm missing any names (as I'm afraid I am) please feel free to supply them.

Project VALOUR-IT 2010

PJ StuffI blinked and it's time for the annual inter-service fundraising competition for Project Valour-IT. Here's the video I put together last year:

Valour-IT 2009 (Fresh Copy)

The bad image quality drives me nuts but it's all I had to work with last year. If you're interested in sending me other video and images that I can work with, I'd love to do a fresh video for 2010.

So what do I have to do to get you to donate this year?
